Community and Personal Interests
Personality and community involvement ultimately reflect on how an elected official will act in office. So that you have a
better idea who you're voting for, I'd like to share some of my personal hobbies and volunteer activities.
In my free time, I love to hunt, ride motorcycles and spend time with my family. Since I've been a young boy, I've hiked all over the place,
exploring nature's treasures. I thoroughly enjoy Apache County's pristine environment, lifestyle and culture. Each community and
person in Apache County is unique, with much to offer. I want to preserve this county, its communities and way of life we all enjoy.
I want to protect our community so it is still a safe place to raise children. My daughter is in 4-H, one of the great opportunities
available to young people who live in Apache County. Our public education system is one of the most important factors to a successful
future -- both my wife and mother are teachers, so I am aware of many of our school's challenges. As County Attorney, I will be charged
with giving legal advice to the school districts and other branches of county government. I can assure you that I will not send my child to
school outside of Apache County.
I believe in giving back to the community, especially to the younger children. Some of my efforts to do so include:
